SanDisk Cruzer Pop Not recognized by Windows 7 pc after formated to NTFS File System

i inserted the Flash Drive into USB port of pc and the drivers were installed. In Disk management console I found that it was preformatted as FAT32 file system. So i formatted it using disk management console, to NTFS file system. Now my pc doesn't recognize it. Wasn't i supposed to format it to NTFS? What has happened? Did formatting ruin it
