"Asus z170i Pro Gaming not detecting Samsung 950 PRO M.2 NVMe ", The Asus z170i Pro Gaming motherboard is not detecting Samsung 950 PRO M.2 NVMe SSD in BIOS or in the Windows 10 install. I created the USB Windows 10 install with the ISO from the Microsoft site and Bootcamp on Mac OS X 10.11. I used the BIOS Exit menu-> "Launch EFI Shell from USB devices" option to load the Windows install from the USB drive. Is this the correct way to load the UEFI install? In the BIOS under Advanced -> PCH Storage Configuration -> M.2 reads "none". I updated to BIOS version to 705. In the BIOS under Boot I tried: CSM - [Enabled] Boot Device Control - [UEFO and Legacy OPROM] and [UEFI only] Boot from Storage - [UEFI driver first] Boot from PCI-E/PCI - [UEFI driver first] In the BIOS under Advanced there are no options for M.2, only PCI-E power management settings. On the Asus Z170 ATX version others have said that there is a option to set PCI-E to M.2, but the mini-ITX version doesn't have this setting in the latest BIOS. I also tried installing Windows 10 with the DVD-ROM and BIOS set to defaults. Still M.2 not showing. I also tried downloading the Samsung drivers and putting them on another USB drive but they are not detected in the Load Drivers in the Windows 10 install.
