"Plugged in hdd makes computer not start ", So I have a self built computer and its been working perfectly fine since December when I installed a new solid state drive and power supply. I'm using my old hard disk drive as a secondary drive since the ssd only has a couple hundred gigs. So like I said, it's been working beautifully until a few days ago. At this time when I turned it on, it stopped at the screen that asks to go into the bios because it acted as if I didn't have any hard drives plugged in. I then tried plugging in different power cords into the hard drives thinking maybe the cord went bad or something. I then came to the conclusion after turning the computer on and off multiple times that if I have my secondary hdd plugged in as well as my main ssd, my computer won't start up properly. Although if I unplug my secondary hdd, it will run. So to sum it up my question is (if anyone might know) why is it doing this and how can I fix it so I can use my secondary hard disk drive again.
