When i got my HDD i formatted it to exFAT so i could use it both my macbook and my windows computer. The external hdd got dropped from a small height and it still worked fine on windows but on mac it would not read. I reformatted the drive and it temporarily solved the problem but now im stuck with it not reading, occasionally it will read but then after my macbook goes to sleep and wakes up it wont read again.
