"USB 3.0 Flash Drive works only in 3.0 ports Not recognized in 2.0 ports" Sony's USM-X 3.0 Flash Drive. I wanted to make a bootable system on it. I plugged it into the 3.0 port and everything worked fine. After this I plugged it in different computer in 2.0 port and nothing was happening. I plugged it in 3 different computers and in all of them when the device was plugged into 3.0 port it was working fine. In the same computers but in 2.0 ports the device wasn't recognized. So this isn't a problem with the ports in the computer but the Flash Drive. I formated it to default settings and and tried uninstalling in device manager. Windows gives me USB device not recognized and Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43). Is there something I can do to make it work in 2.0 ports?
