"USB controller unrecognized in Device Manager", I have a newly built PC. Then I installed Windows 7 without any problems. Now when I tried to install the drivers for my motherboard, I was surprised when it couldnt detect my USB drive. So I thought it would be better to restart the PC and check the BIOS. I reset everything back to default and booted up Win7 once again. Still wont detect my USB. Then I went to the Device Manager that's where I saw the error. Under "Other Devices" - USB Controller has the has the exclamation point in it. I've never experienced this before and I've read in a few threads that some were solved when they set the BIOS back to default.
