"WD Caviar Green 1TB WD10EZRX hangs bios" ,I recently bought a WD Caviar Green 1TB 64MB Cache (WD10EZRX) HDD. Whenever I connect it to my motherboard the bios hangs at "Detecting IDE Drives..." message. I am at my wits end here. I got a new SATA cable just to check if it was the issue. The HDD is SATA III and my mobo is SATA II, but that should not be an issue. I planned to install Windows 7 Ultimate x64 on it. Currently I am running the system using an old laptop HDD I bought this HDD to complete my computer setup and it is plain irritating I dont know if my Power Supply might be the culprit but other HDDs work just fine.
