How to recover files from an SD card formatted for Blackberry?

Two years ago, I owned a Blackberry Storm which came with a 8gb Mini SD card. I saved many music files and documents onto the card. However, the phone no longer works and has left me incapable of retrieving any of these files, because the card is formatted for the Blackberry Storm and isn't recognized by any other device unless I format it for that particular device.
